Michael Dennis Flint of Petaluma, CA, passed away peacefully on September 15, 2025, surrounded by his loved ones. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, veteran, and community leader whose life was marked by service, faith, and kindness.
Born on September 13, 1941, in Corpus Christi, Texas, Mike proudly served his country during the Vietnam War. Following his military service, he dedicated more than 30 years to the Central Intelligence Agency, where his work reflected his deep patriotism, loyalty, and unwavering commitment to protecting others.
Beyond his professional life, Mike was dedicated to serving those around him. In Haymarket, Virginia, he became a respected community leader and a faithful member of his church, where he served as a deacon. His generosity, wisdom, and ability to bring people together earned him the admiration and love of all who knew him.
Above all, Mike cherished his family. He was preceded in death by his parents, Elbert Bascom Flint and Lois Irene (McIlwain) Flint, and by his son, Sean Michael Flint. He is survived by his loving wife, Linda Flint; his sister, Kathleen Paige Chase; his children, Stacy Nelson, Ryan Flint, and Shelley Flint; and his cherished grandchildren, who will carry forward his legacy of love and integrity.
Funeral Services will be Monday, September 22, 2025 at Parent-Sorensen Mortuary & Crematory, 850 Keokuk Street, Petaluma, California at 10am with burial and military honors to follow at Cypress Hill Memorial Park, Petaluma, California.
Michael Flint will be remembered as a man of honor, faith, and compassion. His legacy lives on in the countless lives he touched—within his family, his church, his community, and his country.
