Michael Eugene Haberski

Died suddenly June 7, 2016 in Lake County, CA, beloved husband of Jane B. Haberski of Sebastopol. Loving father of Ben Haberski of Santa Rosa. Dear brother of Stephen Haberski (Connie) of Ohio, Mary McGillicuddy (Terry) of Templeton, Susan Haberski-Hurlburt (Brian) and Laura Lederhos all of Palmdale. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. A native of Lynwood, CA. Age 59 years. Mike, a well known member of the Sonoma County fire service community, retired from Petaluma Fire Department in 2010 after 30 years of service. He also served as an instructor at the SRJC Fire Academy and with the State of California as a certified fire marshal instructor. He enjoyed his memberships in the Konocti Sailing Club and the Santa Rosa Cycling Club. Family and friends are invited to attend the Celebration of Life on Wednesday,June 22, 2016 at 11:00 A. M. at the Church of Christ, 370 Sonoma Mountain Parkway, Petaluma, CA. The family prefer memorials be made to Big Brothers and Big Sisters of Sonoma County or to St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
