Michael Wise

Michael Wise - Passed away suddenly at his home on February 15 at the age of 53. As per his request, there will not be a service. Memorial contributions can be made to The Exploratorium of San Francisco, one of Mikeâ??s favorite places. His love of science and his joy of sharing his knowledge and enthusiasm for all sciences, particularly nanotechnology and artificial intelligence are only a couple of things about Mike that will be forever missed by his family and friends. Mike is survived by his loving wife of 25 years, Nickola L. Frye of Petaluma, his two step-daughters and their husbands: Tracy and Mike Haseltine of Sonoma, and Jennifer and Samuel Chavez of Madison, WI. Devoted son of Jack and Laura Wise of Puyallup, WA. Dearest brother of Michelle and her husband Randy Juette of Yakima, WA. Cherished nephew of Retta Porter of Puyallup, WA. He is also survived by his in-laws, Barbara and Anthony Mendes of Richmond, many aunts, uncles, and cousins in WI, as well as many close family friends.
