Milton G. Woelbing

March 13, 1918 — October 19, 2010

Milton G. "Mickey" Woelbing - Age: 92 years. Mickey was born, reared, and educated in WI, graduating from Custer High School in Milwaukee. During WWII, he enlisted in the US Army and served in the 2nd Signal Corps, and stationed in Two Rock. Mickey worked in radio and television repairs and sales for over 30 years. He enjoyed watching baseball, football, playing cards with friends, and visiting Mario & Johnâ??s. Mickey was known for his green thumb and abundant garden, canning all of his own vegetables. He was a member of SIRS #100 and was also very active in St. Johnâ??s Lutheran Church, serving as treasurer for many years. Friends and family are invited to attend the Memorial Service, Sunday, October 24, 2010 at 2:00 PM at St. Johnâ??s Lutheran Church, 455 McNear Ave., Petaluma, CA 94952. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Johnâ??s Lutheran Church. Private Inurnment. Family assisted by PARENT-SORENSEN MORTUARY & CREMATORY, Petaluma. Passed away on October 19, 2010 in Petaluma. Devoted husband of 65 years to Norma Woelbing. Adored father of Michael Woelbing (Carol), Kathleen Staudenmayer (Ken), Eileen Billeci (Sam), Cindy Womack, and Timothy Woelbing (Penny). Beloved grandfather of 15 and great-grandfather of 12. Loving brother of Clarence Woelbing (Louise) and predeceased by seven brothers and sisters. Survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
