Minnie Asti

Minnie Asti - Entered into rest on February 26, 2011 at the age of 93, beloved wife of 70 years of the late Sam Asti. Also survived by children, Gerri Asti, Dennis Asti (Dona), Janice Davis (Ray), David Asti; grandchildren, Karin Rossi, Julie Baron, Lisa Siemens-Cowles, John Asti, Joe Asti, Clint Davis, Kyle Davis, Alison Davis and ten great-grandchildren. Born in San Francisco March 17, 1917 to Teresa and Louie Travaglini, she was preceded in death by brothers, Frank Travaglini and Dominic Travaglini and sister, Mary Landucci. She was a member of St. Rose Parish, and for 45 years worked on the parish festival committee, helping prepare food for hundreds of people each year. Minnie was secretary for the Italian Catholic Federation. She served meals at St. Vincent de Paul"s Dining Room for many years. Minnie will be remembered for her generosity, kindness and loving nature.
