Mirth M. Lafferty - Mirth Lafferty passed away peacefully at her Petaluma residence on October 21, 2011. Devoted wife of the late Maurice Lafferty. Loving mother of Kent (Geri) Lafferty of Ellensburg, WA, Gary (Donna) Lafferty of Petaluma, and Steven Lafferty of Phoenix, AZ. Cherished grandmother of Ann, Brian, and Sara, and great-grandmother of Jordan. Loving sister of Doris Crosley of NE. . A Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 30, 2011 from 11:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. at PARENT-SORENSEN MORTUARY & CREMATORY, 850 Keokuk St., Petaluma, CA. A Memorial Service will be held on Monday, October 31, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. at the Sunrise Assisted Living, 815 Wood Sorrel Dr., Petaluma, CA followed by the burial at 12 Noon at Cypress Hill Memorial Park, Petaluma. Memorial contributions may be made to Hillside Church of the Nazarene, 2689 Adobe Road, Petaluma, CA 94954 in her memory. Mirth worked at the San Rafael Emporium for over 16 years. She enjoyed her grandchildren, family gatherings, handiwork, and being outdoors.
