Mollie Frances Dawes

Mollie Frances Dawes - Surrounded by her loving family, Mollie passed away Sunday, November 27, 2011 at the age of 84 years. Mollie was born October 30, 1927 to William and Lula Bryant; being the 4th child, in Lindsey, OK. Mollie was preceded in death by her parents, sisters; Jesse McCoy, Frankie Jones, and her only brother, Cecil Bryant. Mollie was a faithful member of the First Baptist Church of Petaluma, and then moved to First Baptist Church of Elk Grove. Mollie was strong in her faith and is now with our Heavenly Father. Friends and family are invited to attend the Funeral Service, Tuesday, December 6, 2011 at 1:00 PM at the PARENT-SORENSEN MORTUARY & CREMATORY, 850 Keokuk St., Petaluma. A Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 10:00 AM until the service. The family requests any donations offered go to the Alzheimerâ??s Facilities in your area, or to The Alzheimerâ??s Association, 225 N. Michigan Ave., #1700, Chicago, IL 60601-7653 in Mollieâ??s name. Survived by her adoring husband of 68 years, John S. Dawes, Sr., daughter, Linda Joy Foust of Chicago, loving son, John S. Dawes, Jr., and wife Peni of Elk Grove, CA; loving sisters, Joyce Woods (Ralph) of Lodi, Claudine Patsy Blackwell (Robert) of Lowndesboro, AL; and dearest sister-in-law, Inge Bryant of NC. Mollie leaves 6 grandchildren, 3 step-grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-granddaughter. She leaves several cousins, nieces and nephews.
