Mona L. Pelton

Passed away at home in Petaluma, CA, September 2, 2017 surrounded by her family. Beloved wife of Courtland Pelton. Loving mother of Scott Pelton (Judy) of Cotati and Dawn Scholes (Russell) of Pueblo, CO.  Cherished grandmother of Zachary Pelton and Shannen Scholes. Dear sister of Dorothy Corry of Petaluma. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

A native of Ferdig, Montana.  Age 86 years. Mona came to Sonoma County with her family at the age of 5, settling in Cotati where she was reared and educated. She worked for many years as a bookkeeper and secretary for M. Vonsen Feed & Seed, Beachaumps Welding and later Kval Machine. She especially enjoyed playing golf, snow skiing, and traveling in their RV.

Family and friends are invited to the Memorial Service, Saturday, September 16, 2017 at 11:00 A.M. at Hessel Church, 5060 Hessel Ave., Sebastopol, CA 95472.  The family prefer memorials be made to Hospice of Petaluma or to the Salvation Army.
