Myrna Traversi, 76, passed away on December 2, 2014, peacefully, with her loving husband, Al, and son and daughter by her side. She was born August 22, 1938 in Saint Helena, where she grew up and learned how to play the piano. In 1954 she met the love of her life at The Midway Dance Hall in Santa Rosa. She moved to Sonoma County in 1957 when she married Al and raised her family in Santa Rosa. She was brilliant with bookkeeping and worked for car dealerships, CPA firms and her last job was at the Santa Rosa Junior College 11/03/86 through 08/31/99. She and her husband had many hobbies, which always included being around many great friends. It started out with the boat club, water skiing and camping. As she grew older, she became interested in classic cars. Myrna and her husband, Al, have a collection of antique cars. Myrna loved to organize car tours, researching the beautiful back roads and the best lunch spots. She also put her great love of travel to work organizing several trips to Switzerland, a country she dearly loved, for family and friends. Christmas sing-a-longs with her playing the piano and backyard barbecues in the summer with family and friends were a large part of her life.
Myrna Traversi is survived by her husband, Al Traversi, her son Stephen Traversi and daughter in law, Michelle, her daughter, Sienna Paiz and son in law, Dave and her three grandsons, Matthew and Jacob Traversi and Andrew Paiz. She is also survived by her siblings, Doreen, Ken and Evelyn.
