Sartori, Nadine Alice, entered eternal rest on May 20, 2025

Nadine was born to Vivian and Royce Anderson and lived her entire life Petaluma.

She attended Phillip Sweed School, Petaluma Jr High and Petaluma High School, graduating in 1954.

Nadine was a member of the Petaluma Riding and Driving Club as a young girl where she exceled as a Western rider and showed horses for many years.

In 1956, she married Donald Sartori. Nadine volunteered for many years at St. Vincent’s de Pauli Schools when their children attended school. She was President of the St Vincent’s Mothers Club and Chairperson for the Annual Bazar, she happily served lunch at the grammar school on “Hot Dog Day”, a day that was very popular with students. She drove her children to 4-H events, ice skating lessons, volunteer jobs and to sleepovers and was a dedicated Nana who logged in many hours babysitting her grandchildren.

In her later years, she joined the Red Hat Society and the Petaluma Moose Lodge and was a volunteer at Petaluma Hospice and Petaluma Valley Hospital.

Nadine is survived by her son, Larry (Joanne) Sartori of Petaluma and Maureen (Doug) Butler of Santa Rosa, her grandchildren Jennifer Sartori of Petaluma, Christopher (Jessica) Sartori of Encinitas, Tim (Melissa) Sartori of El Cajon, Katie (Issac) Macro of Hutto Texas, Megan Butler of Santa Rosa and Hannah (Rocky) Costanzo of Napa and her great grandchildren, Auggie Sartori, Caroline and Hattie Sartori, Cooper and Cody Macro and Makenna and Colette Butler her lifelong friend Lois Roberts and her cousin Pat Churchfield Besides her loving parents, she is proceeded in death by her adored daughter Shari, her infant brother Wayne and her favorite horse, Lucky.

Her family would like to thank Providence Hospice, the staff at Vineyard Post Acute in Petaluma and the friends she made there.

She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.

A Celebration of Life will be held on July 22nd at 12:00 at the Petaluma Elks Lodge.
