Nancy Saragina passed away August 6, 2024. She was surrounded by her loving husband, sister, three daughters, son in law, and nine of her twelve grandchildren.
Nancy was born at Petaluma General Hospital August 25, 1948. Delivered by the same doctor that delivered her father, Dr. Lewis. She was the oldest of her combined six siblings.
At a young age, Nancy helped care for her younger siblings and from there never stopped. At 17 years old, she got her first job as a nurse’s aide at Seaton Hospital in Daily City, and the brave woman she was she would sometimes hitchhike to work. Nancy either worked in a hospital, convalescent hospital, or as an in -home caregiver for most of her life. She also did a little retail here and there. She was a natural caregiver and took care of many people, family and friends, throughout her whole life. Her family and friends are what she lived for and without a doubt what she loved most.
In 1972, she got together with her “one and only” Paul Saragina. Together they raised four daughters Jennifer, Aimee, Amber (deceased 2015), and Jaime. Paul and Nancy were together 52 years married for 50. They have 12 grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
Nance was the life of every party. She had a great sense of humor. She was a hard worker. She was loyal. She was a loved mother and a grandmother. To her husband, Paul, she was his best friend, His “one and only” forever and always. She will be greatly missed and never forgotten. SHE IS UNFORGETTABLE.
