NORMA ANN MERKEL passed away on October 13, 2015 in Petaluma at the age of 91 years. Devoted wife of the late George Merkel. Cherished mother of Rod Merkel (Pat), Warren Merkel, Steve Merkel (Ann), Ken Merkel (Doreen), and the late Larry Merkel. Beloved mother-in-law of Sarah Merkel. Adored grandmother of 13 and great-grandmother of 13. Loving sister of Rolland Benker, LaVerne Pedersen, and the late Dorothy Pond. Survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Norma loved music, dancing, and spending time with wonderful family and friends. Friends and family are invited to attend the Memorial Service, Friday, October 16, 2015 at 2:00 pm at Petaluma Valley Baptist Church, 580 Sonoma Mountain Pkwy., Petaluma. Private Inurnment.
