NORMA JEAN WOELBING passed away on September 21, 2017 in Santa Rosa at the age 90 years. Devoted wife of the late Milton “Mickey” Woelbing. Cherished mother of Michael Woelbing (Carol), Kathleen Staudenmayer (Ken, deceased), Eileen Billeci (Sam,deceased), Cindy Womack, and Timothy Woelbing (Penny). Beloved grandmother of 15 and great-grandmother of 16. Loving sister of Patricia Breeden (Al) and Edwina Stein (George). Survived by several nieces and nephews.
Norma was born, reared and educated in Santa Rosa, graduating from Santa Rosa High School in 1945. She met and married the love of her life, Mickey, and together they enjoyed 65 years until his passing in 2010. They settled in Petaluma where Norma was an active member of the community. She was involved in numerous Petaluma organizations and was proud to sing and be in the first car for the new Hwy. 101 opening in 1957. She was a talented seamstress and amazing cook. Norma was very active in St. John Lutheran Church, where she volunteered much of her time and talent. She was a remarkable singer, and she lent her gift to her church choir and the Harmoneers and Harmonettes. Above all, Norma loved her family. She was a wonderful woman and will be greatly missed.
Friends and family are invited to attend the Memorial Service on Saturday, November 18, 2017 at 10:00 am at St. John Lutheran Church, 455 McNear Ave., Petaluma. Memorial contributions may be made to your favorite charity. Private Inurnment.
