NORMAN "NORM" EDWARD REGER, 89, of Petaluma, Ca, passed away August 8, 2018, at his home.
Norman was born March 7, 1928 in Long Island, NY to John and Gertrude Reger. He attended high school in Connecticut and when John and Gertrude moved to California (after WW2), Norm followed. He graduated from San Jose State in 1952 and pursued a printing career. He was a salesman for various printing companies both in Sacramento and San Francisco. He eventually bought and ran a small bindery on 8th street before personal computers took over. When he was younger, he enjoyed skiing, sailing, fishing and deer hunting. Norm loved his grandchildren and enjoyed attending as many of their sporting events as possible.
Norman is survived by his loving and very caring wife, Alwine Bones Reger, his daughter Cathy Dolbec of Rancho Mirage, CA and his two grandchildren Kendall Dolbec, currently living in Dublin, Ireland, Ross Dolbec of Seattle, WA, along with a niece and nephew, Heidi Patterson and Michael Reger of Oregon.
