Patricia Ann Cheda

Patricia Ann Cheda, age 85, passed away on June 2, 2018. Patricia was born and raised in Petaluma where she met her high school sweetheart Leroy Cheda and married in 1952. She and Leroy raised seven children on their family dairy farm, until he preceded her in death in 1992. She was the matriarch of the Cheda family, and mom to many others as well. Patricia, also known as "Mrs. C and Grandma Cheda" found joy in her garden, time spent traveling, crocheting, and tending to her grandchildren showing the family Holsteins at the local fairs. She is survived by her brother Leonard Powers, sister in-law Elaine Cheda, her children Leroy Jr., LaDonna Swallow, Loretta Gutendorf, Larry, Kevin, Greg, and Tim, their spouses, her 15 grandchildren, and 11 great grandchildren. A visitation will be held on Wednesday June 6, from 11:00 am-8:00 pm, with a Vigil service at 7:00 pm at Parent-Sorensen Mortuary and Crematory, 850 Keokuk St. Petaluma, Ca. A Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday June 7, at 11:00 am at St. James Catholic Church, 125 Sonoma Mountain Pkwy, Petaluma. Visitation
