Patricia Bridget Kenhart - KENHART, PATRICIA BRIDGET" Entered into rest peacefully in Santa Rosa, CA, on Good Friday, April 10, 2009, in the presence of her devoted husband, John H. of Santa Rosa, CA and her loving daughter, Leslie Kenhart, also of Santa Rosa, CA. Also survived by one cherished granddaughter, Brigitte Mendelssohn of Orange County, CA, a sister; Catherine Schumann of Hartford, CT and numerous nieces and nephews. A native of Nova Scotia, Canada, Pat is predeceased by her parents, the late James and Mary (Casey) Leslie, five brothers; James, Tom, Ed, Duncan and John, as well as two sisters; Joan and Ann. Most of the Leslie Family settled in Connecticut where Pat met and married the love of her life, John. They soon moved to Miami, FL where John had attended college. Married for fifty-seven years, they cherished the kind of romance many search for but few find. In both traveling the world together and raising their daughter, they faced the world as two people become one flesh, caring for and supporting each other in every circumstance. Years later, when their daughter moved to California and had a daughter of her own, Pat and John moved to Santa Rosa to be close to them. As an incredible wife, mother and grandmother, Pat"s life was filled with countless happy memories and the abundant love of her family. Pat was a well-liked, loving woman, a picture of both elegance and strength. She will be mourned by her many relatives and friends in many parts of the world.
