Patricia J. Smoot - Pat Smoot passed away peacefully in Petaluma on Jan. 11, 2011 in the presence of loving friends, after a lifetime of achievement as a fine artist. She grew up on a ranch in Olema, graduated from Tomales High School, and later earned a B.A. in Fine Art from the University of California at Berkeley. She is survived by many who love her, including her son, Graham Walker and his wife Lindy, and two granddaughters, Hannah and Lucy Walker. Her son is President of Patrick Henry College in Virginia, near Washington, D.C. The Argus Courier profiled Pat in a feature article, August 26, 2009. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Johnâ??s Anglican Church, Petaluma.
