Peggymae Ione Peil

Peggymae Ione Peil - Peggymae Ione Peil 93, passed away peacefully on May 28, 2011 at her sonâ??s home in Sonoma. She was born in Superior, Wisconsin to Blanche & James Hunker. She was a waitress when she met and married Eugene John Peil in 1942. Eugene & Peggymae moved to Petaluma in 1961 to raise their sons, Gene & Alex. Peggymae kept herself busy as a homemaker, and was involved in Valley Vista P.T.A., St. Johns Church Altar guild, and served on the Boys Club board of directors for many years. Peggymae loved her family, friends, swimming, gardening and social gatherings. She is survived by her son Gene Peil and his wife Peggy, sister Audrey Larsen of Wisconsin and grandchildren Alex, Logan and Gina Peil. She was predeceased by her loving husband of 59 years, Eugene and her son Alex. Friends are invited to attend a memorial service on Friday, June 3rd, 2011 at 10 a.m. at PARENT-SORENSEN MORTUARY & CREMATORY, 850 Keokuk Street, Petaluma, CA 94952.
