Peter Curreri

Peter "Pete the Barber" Curreri - Passed away at his home in Monte Rio on December 28, 2010 after a brief battle with Lung Cancer at the age of 69. He is survived by his beloved wife of 49 years, Rose, son Tony (Lisa) of Greenwood, SC, son Craig (Elaine) of Windsor, CA, and grandchildren Clayton, Chris, Cierra, Jenna & Nicole. Also he is survived by his brother Carl (Shirley) of Clayton, CA, and nephew Vito and niece Victoria. Pete was born and raised in North Beach, S.F. and worked at Salâ??s and Peteâ??s Barber Shop on Lombard St. He then moved his business to Corte Madera and opened The Corte Madera Cutter, and finally moved to Monte Rio and opened Peteâ??s Barber Shop near the Northwood Golf Course. He will be deeply missed by many whose hearts he has touched over the years.
