Phyllis Audrey Feibusch

PHYLLIS FEIBUSCH, 70, passed away on February 24, 2014 at her home in Petaluma, CA after a short battle with cancer surrounded by her loving family. She leaves behind her husband of 35 years Marcel Feibusch of Petaluma, CA; her children Ira Meinhofer, Lisa Warner (Brad), Steve Meinhofer (Karen), Paul Meinhofer (Julie), Denise Feibusch-Silva and Mark Meinhofer (Trish); cherished and devoted grandmother of Sara, Mathew, Zachary, Mickey, Alyssa, Mercedes R., Melia, Maia, Cole, Mercedes M., and Tyler. Phyllis was born on June 21, 1943 in Brooklyn, NY to Joseph and Rose (Hochman) Felsher. She moved to Petaluma in the early 70's and became involved in the Jewish community, where she was the administrator for the B'nai Israel Jewish Center for over 30 years. She served the community in several different roles over the years and was President of Sisterhood, Treasurer, life member of Hadassah, past member of the B'nai Israel Jewish Center Board of Directors, and managed B'nai Israel's Gift Shop. Phyllis enjoyed raising her children and was an active member of the Petaluma National Little League when her sons played baseball. She was an avid N.Y. Yankee fan and enjoyed watching and attending baseball games. She also enjoyed traveling with her husband, being a grandmother and spending time with friends and family. Phyllis will be truly missed by all of us. Family and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Service, Wednesday, February 26, 2014 at 11:00 AM at PARENT-SORENSEN MORTUARY & CREMATORY, 850 Keokuk St., Petaluma. Interment will follow at B'nai Israel Cemetery, Petaluma. In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial donations be made to Hospice of Petaluma or to B'nai Israel Jewish Center.
