Phyllis Ann Garrison

PHYLLIS ANN GARRISON passed away on September 29, 2015 in Petaluma at the age of 89. Devoted wife of Robert Garrison of Petaluma. Cherished mother of Greg Garrison (Kathy) of ID, Grant Garrison of Daly City, and Tara Feickert (Gene) of Petaluma. Beloved grandmother of Mike, Dan, and Andrew Joyce; Kendra Dinh; and Colton and Adison Feickert. Predeceased by eight siblings. Survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Phyllis was born and reared in Swanville, MN. She graduated from high school in Oregon and moved to Alameda. It was in Alameda that she met the love of her life, Robert. They were engaged within seven days and have enjoyed 68 years of marriage. In the early years, they moved to WA, where they built their own home. A few years later, Robert's work moved the family back to CA, where they settled in Petaluma in 1966. In her spare time, Phyllis loved to garden, bake, and shop the flea markets. She was also very active in her church choir. Above all, Phyllis loved her family; she will be greatly missed. Private services were held. Interment: Cypress Hill Memorial Park, Petaluma.
