Phyllis Nelson - Phyllis O. Nelson passed away peacefully on Tuesday, February 24, 2009 at her home in Petaluma at the age of 93. Devoted wife of the late Newman M. Nelson. Loving mother of Janet (the late David) Clary of Colorado, N. Byron Nelson of Petaluma, Lois (Joe) Field of Colorado, and John (Judi) Nelson of Arroya Grande. Loving grandmother of 9, great-grandmother of 14, great-great grandmother of 4. Loving sister of the late Dorothy Nilsson.
Born in Berkeley, she lived most of her life in Penngrove and Petaluma.
