Rachel Marie Pounds - Rachel Marie Pounds (McNally) passed away on Friday May 15th at her home in Rohnert Park, Ca of a probable stroke or aneurysm. Rachel was 34 yrs old. Rachel graduated from Fortuna High School in 1993 and moved to Sonoma County in 1994 and was the oldest daughter of Steve and Janice McNally formerly of Fortuna and Eureka. She was a cheerleader and mascot in high school and worked part time at Bartowâ??s Jewelry for Joey and Lisa Barrote. She began her love affair with horses in Jr. High and continued with it until now. She was a dedicated and supportive professional Nanny until she was married to Mr. Toby Pounds of Petaluma in 2001. She will be missed by her former Nanny charges, Willie and Jeannie Sullivan. She was also a professional food server for various catering companies and voted one of Sonoma Countyâ??s top food service professionals in 2008 while working for Mister McGoo's Italian restaurant in Petaluma owned by the McGaughey family. Rachel was a true friend to many and loved to help and serve others. She was a dedicated wife and mother. Her zest for life and love for God was known by all who came into contact with her. Rachel could light up any room that she walked into with her broad smile, white teeth, happy eyes, radiant countenance, jazzy outfits and genuine affection. Her passion for shopping and finding a â??dealâ?
