Ralph P. Amaroli - AMAROLI, Ralph
passed peacefully surrounded by his loving family on July 16th at the age of 83 .
Born April 12, 1924, on his parentâ??s ranch near Cloverdale, during which time was an area largely inhabited by Italian immigrants. Italian was his sole language until age six, when he entered first grade and began to learn English. Ralph started work at an early age and helped his family during the depression.
He graduated from Geyserville high school, then worked in Bay Area shipyards during WWII.
Ralph is survived by his beloved wife, Theodora of 57 years, his loving daughters, Jacqueline Kennedy (Jeff) and Lisa Amaroli, his devoted son, Paul Amaroli, granddaughters Maire Kennedy and Alexandra Amaroli and grandson, Nicolas Kennedy. Caring sister, Ann Gillis (Al), sister in-law Marilan Amaroli, and was preceded in death by brother, George Amaroli. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and relatives both here and in Italy. The family would like to express thanks to the caring staff at Primrose and Heartland Hospice.

Ralph proudly served in the US Army from 1943 to 1946 in the 8th Field Artillery in Europe with training in radar and meteorology.
He studied Civil Engineering at UC Berkeley and started his career as a licensed contractor, building several houses in Sonoma County. He later became a Construction Supervisor for the California Office of the State Architect.
