Ralph Louis Giacomini, Sr. - Died suddenly as a result of an automobile accident on Wednesday, June 22, 2011, outside of Petaluma. Beloved father of Helen (Thom) McDermott of Yountville, Michael (Jenny) Giacomini and Ann (Cliff) Phillips of Petaluma, Ralph Giacomini Jr. of Pt. Reyes Station, Mary (Joe) Crowley of San Rafael, Gina (Brett) Winterhalder and Mark Giacomini of Pleasanton. Loving Nono to 17 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren. Also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family. Family and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Mass, Monday, June 27, 2011 at 1:30 p.m. at St. Vincent de Paul Church, 35 Liberty St., Petaluma, CA. A Vigil Service will be held on Sunday, June 26, 2011 at 6:00 p.m. at St. Vincentâ??s Church. Visitation will be on Sunday, from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at PARENT-SORENSEN MORTUARY & CREMATORY, Petaluma. Private family interment at Calvary Catholic Cemetery, Petaluma. He was predeceased by his wife of 55 years, Margaret Maestretti Giacomini, his great grandson, Clay Veal, his parents, Tobias and Celestina Giacomini, and his six siblings, Berfred, Waldo, Esther (Gambonini), Tobias, Vivyan (Cetani) and Joseph.
