Ramey Chaney

Ramey Chaney - Passed away at his Petaluma residence on July 2, 2012. Devoted husband of 66 years to Genevieve Chaney of Petaluma. Loving father of Diane Weis and her husband Steven of Petaluma and Bob Chaney and his wife Pat of Paso Robles, CA. Loving grandfather of Adam Weis (Clara) of Petaluma, Eric Weis (Ramey) of Walnut Creek, Jennifer Correa (Allan) of Paso Robles, and Stephanie Schimmel-Conmy of Hawaii; great-grandfather of Hudson Crash Conmy of Hawaii and Marlee Correa of Paso Robles. A life-long Sonoma County resident, Ray began his bakery career at the US Bakery in 1939, and returned to work there after WWII, purchasing the business in 1958. He owned and operated the bakery, with his wife Genevieve, until retiring in 1990. He was a proud member of the USS Prichett (DD-561) Association, Sirs #147, American Legion Post 1000, â??Go-Fer Kixâ?
