Raymond J. Calvi - Passed away in Santa Rosa, CA, Sunday, November 15, 2009, beloved husband for 57 years of Daria E. Calvi of Occidental. Born January 9, 1930. Loving father of Janice (Allan) Kelly of Windsor, Rick Calvi, Ron Calvi and Kevin (Lisa) Calvi all of Occidental. Loving former father-in-law of Missy Calvi of Occidental and Regina Cuculich of Santa Rosa. Cherished grandfather of Kim Taylor, Kate Kelly, Nicole Kelly, Richard Calvi Jr., Jarrod Calvi, Leisa Calvi, Logan Calvi, Claire Calvi, Dominic Calvi, Kyle Calvi and Sara Calvi. Adored great grandfather of Laycie Taylor, Lilah Taylor and Ashlynn Calvi. Beloved brother of Dante Calvi of Occidental, Paula Mairel of Anderson, and the late Leita Forcier and Olga Hall. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. A native of Occidental, CA. Age 79 years. Mr. Calvi was reared and educated in Occidental, attending the Coleman Valley School and later graduated from Tomales High School. He was well known in the West Sonoma County region, where he had worked in the saw mill, operated a sheep ranch and for over 45 years was an excavating contractor.
