Rena Guglielmetti

Rena Guglielmetti - Rena was born 11-9-23 to Rocco and Petronilla Faletto in Rivarossa, Torino, Italy. She emigrated to America with her parents as a toddler in 1926. The family eventually settled in Santa Rosa where Rena attended Santa Rosa High School, and met Frank Guglielmetti, whom she married 9-23-43. They had two children, Gerry and Jan. Besides her family the most important thing in Rena"s life was her work as a Bible teacher. She was baptized as a Jehovah"s Witness 4-27-56 in a pool in the Bruning Vineyard on Sonoma Mountain. When her children were adults she began devoting her efforts full-time to preaching and teaching, and kept at it for forty years. Rarely still, she used her spare time for gardening, study, and trips to her home in Lake Tahoe. She is survived by her son Gerry (Kris), and Jan (Dan) Bushneff, her sister Annie (John) Vannetti as well numerous nieces, nephews and friends who came to appreciate her devotion, her persistence, and her love for doing good.
