Richard Patton

Richard Patton - Passed away in San Rafael, CA. December 29, 2007 , at the age of 74. Dear companion of Marcia O'Brien of Petaluma. Loving father of Kim Groves, Todd Patton, Dawn Kison, Lisa Oest all of Colorado and Timothy Patton of Florida. Cherished grandfather of 8 and great-grandfather of 5. He is survived by 4 siblings and was preceded in death by 7 siblings. Richard was born in 1934 to Charles and Rosemary Patton in Minnesota. Between the years of 1951 and 1955 Richard served his country in the Navy during the Korean War. Later he moved to California to pursue a career as a contractor and project supervisor for residential and commercial building. A Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 3, 2008 from 10:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. with a Vigil Service at 7:00 p.m. at PARENT-SORENSEN MORTUARY AND CREMATORY, 850 Keokuk St., Petaluma. Private inurnment will be at Calvary Catholic Cemetery. Memorial contributions in Richard's name may be made to the American Cancer Society, 1451 Guerneville Road, Suite 220, Santa Rosa, CA 95403 or to your favorite charity.
