Richard Joseph Scott

Richard Joseph Scott - Devoted husband of 50 years to Shelby Scott; Loving father of Chris and Robert Scott, and adored grandfather of, Jeremy, Justin and Jessica. Richard Scott was born on November 19,1936 in Chaffee, Missouri to John and Frieda Scott. He met his wife of 50 years while stationed at Hamilton Air Force Base in California. They married on December 20, 1958 and have just recently celebrated their 50th.Wedding Anniversary Richard worked as an Operating Engineer for 30 years until he retired in 1996. He enjoyed outdoor activities of golf, fishing and traveling. His favorite travel destination was Hawaii. He was also a diehard 49er fan. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, January 15, 2009 at 1:00 pm at Parent-Sorensen Mortuary and Crematory 850 Keokuk St. Petaluma, CA 94952.
