Richard L. Trayler

Richard L. "Dick" Trayler - Passed away on August 26, 2012 in Petaluma. Devoted husband of 66 years to Alice M. Trayler. Cherished father of Douglas Trayler (Leellen) of Windsor. Loving grandfather of five and great-grandfather of six. Adored brother of the late Roy Trayler, Allie Giles, Alice Oates and Blanche Swartout. Survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. In his spare time, he was an active volunteer for Sacks Thrift Avenue, the Petaluma Kitchen and Christmas Cheer. He was very generous in giving to others and proud of his son Doug. He was loved by all of his family very much. Dick was a wonderful man; he will be missed greatly. Friends and family are invited to attend the Funeral Liturgy on Thursday, August 30, 2012 at 2:00 PM at the PARENT-SORENSEN MORTUARY & CREMATORY, 850 Keokuk St., Petaluma. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Petaluma. Interment: Cypress Hill Memorial Park, Petaluma. Age: 88 years. A Member of: St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church and VFW Post 1929-Petaluma.
