Robert C. Benson

Robert C. "Bob" Benson - Robert C. "Bob""" Benson, 71, died peacefully on May 28, 2010 at home in Penngrove after a valiant five year struggle with kidney cancer. Robert's final days were spent surrounded by family and friends. Robert was born in Boston in 1938. His family moved to Los Altos Hills in 1954. Robert graduated from Mountain View High School and soon enlisted into the U.S. Marine Corp., being honorably discharged. Robert then graduated from Menlo School of Business. Bob Benson started with General Motors, becoming a District Manager and during his long career he owned many GM franchises including four Saturn dealerships in the North Bay.
