Robert M. "Bob" Morris

ROBERT M. MORRIS passed away unexpectedly Sunday, September 8, 2013 in Reno, Nevada. Bob, as he was known was born on August 21, 1942 in San Rafael, raised in Point Reyes Station and attended high school in Sonoma. After the death of his father, Bob ran the dairy ranch in Sonoma for several years. He later owned and operated Morris Trucking business in Point Reyes Station until his retirement. Bob and his significant other, Louise Mahrt, moved to Penngrove in 1998 where he enjoyed his hobby of wine making - Zin being his specialty. Bob also enjoyed playing golf, coffee hour at Henny Pennys each morning with his many friends, and traveling much of the U.S.A. with Louise. Bob is survived by the love of his life of 26 years, Louise Mahrt and her family, which became his: daughters, Robin (Jim) Kilpatrick and Terri (Randy) Trujillo; grandchildren, Jennifer Cole and her partner Jay Deming, Kristina (Sean) Borsick, Nick and Andy Trujillo and Giovanna Nave; great-grandchildren, Haylee and Brooke Borsick; cherished cousin and Godmother, Elaine Kuegeman of San Francisco; cousins, Bill (Marles) Bianchi and Carolyn (Mounir) Hadiji from Virginia, and many extended family members and friends. Predeceased by his parents, Frank and Rita Morris and his Uncle and Godfather, Joe Bianchi. A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, September 20, 2013 at 11:00 AM at the PARENT-SORENSEN MORTUARY & CREMATORY, 850 Keokuk St., Petaluma. Private Interment.
