Robert "Bob" C. Johnson

Robert C. “Bob” Johnson of Petaluma, CA, born June 10, 1941, in Minnesota.

Bob passed away February 1, 2025, peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family at the age of 83 after a courageous battle with Parkinson’s Disease and Dementia.

Preceded in death by his loving wife Catherine E. of 44 years.  Survived by his cherished children Rebecca L. McCoy (Shawn) husband and Daniel C. Johnson (Shelley) wife.  His adoring grandchildren Sawyer and Daxton Johnson.  His beloved partner Ellie Sebring, his loving sister Diane Andrews and her children and grandchildren. His brother and sister-in-law, Dennis and Margeret Degard and their children and grandchildren.

Bob enjoyed coaching Petaluma Youth Soccer, traveling with his wife, and later with his partner, all over the globe.  He also enjoyed playing cards, watching his grandsons play their various sports and his son-in-law race at Petaluma Speedway.

A Celebration of Life will be announced in the near future for family and friends.

Donations to Petaluma Hospice or Petaluma Senior Center, where he enjoyed many hours playing cards, would be appreciated.
