Robert Leighton Crandell

Robert Leighton Crandell - Bob Crandell passed away suddenly at his Petaluma home on Oct. 11, 2010. Loving father of Lezley (Steven) Beyer of Clearlake, CA, Lynda Hogue of TN, and the late Robert Crandell, Jr. Cherished grandfather of Derek Beyer, Magen (David) Estep, Amanda Crandell, and Mackinzie Crandell. Dear brother of Judith Luxton of Campell, CA. Devoted uncle of Rachel (John) Pavlicevich and Jocelyn (Kevin) Maurer and great uncle to Vincent and Jesse Pavlicevich and James and Matthew Maurer. Former husband of the late Edna Crandell and father-in-law of Cindy Crandell. Reared and educated in Petaluma, he was the son of the late Walter and Mattie (Jarvis) Crandell, a pioneer Sonoma County family. He graduated from Petaluma High School in 1956. Bob was a 4th generation hay and grain farmer who continued working up until his untimely death.
