Robert Jr L Adams

Robert “Bob” Adams Jr., 86, of Petaluma, passed away February 12, 2023, at his home.

He was born on May 15, 1936, to Robert & Marie Adams in Kiowa, OK.

After high school Bob joined the Navy in 1954 and then the Air Force in 1959. While in the Air Force Bob was stationed at Hamilton Air Force Base which brought him to California and meeting his wife Betty Jean Della Bruna.

Bob spent most of his career as a mechanic which led him to become part owner of Courtesy Auto & Truck Repair, retiring in 1997. After retirement Bob & Betty spent time traveling and golfing with the SIRS RV Club, along with spending time with family, friends, and their grandson Tyler.

Bob was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Marie Adams, wife Betty Jean Adams, brothers Ray (Venda) Adams, Paul (Richie) Adams, Don (Violet) Adams, sisters Ella (George) Hall, Lois (David) Hall, Patsy (Millard) Sweetin, many friends and relatives.

Bob was survived by his daughter Cindi (Greg) Wilson, grandson Tyler Wilson, brother Doy (Barbara) Adams, sister Betty (Bobby) Ramey, brother in-law Joe (Patti) Della Bruna. Also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and many dear friends.

Visitation & Services will be Thursday, February 23rd, 2023, from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. at PARENT-SORENSEN MORTUARY & CREMATORY, 850 Keokuk St., Petaluma.

Interment will follow at Calvary Catholic Cemetery in Petaluma.

Bob enjoyed spending time with the family dogs, Montana & Lucy. The family prefer memorials to be made to: Golden Gate Labrador Retriever Rescue (GGLRR), 268 Bush St. #4322, San Francisco, CA 94104.
