Robert John Neve - Robert John Neve passed away suddenly Sunday morning, April 18, 2010, leaving behind his wife, Corinna, and two devoted sons, Anthony and Alex. A Visitation will be on Thursday, April 22, 2010 from 11:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. with a Vigil at 7:00 p.m. at PARENT-SORENSEN MORTUARY & CREMATORY, 850 Keokuk St., Petaluma. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, April 23, 2010 at 1:00 p.m. at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, 35 Liberty St., Petaluma, CA. Burial: Calvary Catholic Cemetery, 304 Magnolia Ave., Petaluma. Donations may be made to St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Elementary School or High School or your favorite charity in Robert's name. A man of great ambition, Robert was a visionary, working his whole life with flowers and cultivating the land. Among his many accomplishments, Robert resurrected his late father's nursery, Neve Roses, created Adobe Pumpkin Farm in Petaluma, and mentored his young cousin, Andrew Iannone. Robert's greatest pride was his two boys, for whom he devoted his life, and his favorite pastime was watching them play baseball and basketball. Robert had the gift of gab and loved to laugh, had a heart of gold and was very generous to the community. He will be greatly missed.
