Robert E. Noble

Robert E. Noble - Passed away in Stanford, CA, April 6, 2010, at the age of 76. He was the beloved husband of Barbara Noble of Penngrove,CA. Loving and respected father of Michelle Perone of Saratoga and the late Michael Robert Noble. Father-in-law of Michael Perone. Cherished and forever missed grandfather of Zackary, Adriana, Madison and Michael Perone. Loving brother of Edith Higgins of Sunnyside, WA, Florence Noble of Lake Havasu, AZ and his late sister Ruth Colombini and brother Michael Noble. Brother-in-law of George Higgins and John Colombini. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Robert was a native of Sausalito, CA. He spent much of his career in the South Bay area where he played a part in its rapid growth. He was a long time member of the Operating Engineers Local 3. Upon his retirement, Robert and Barbara built and enjoyed the past 15 years in their Penngrove dream home. It was there that he continued to enjoy hunting, classic car shows, countless other social events/clubs, telling memory-filled stories and spending time with family and friends. Robert and Barbara recently celebrated their 55th wedding anniversary.
