Robert Marshall Pratt - Robert Marshall Pratt was a quiet and unassuming man who was a son, a brother, and an uncle. He was also a patriot who, despite a visual disability that prevented him from being sent overseas, nonetheless served his country in both World War II and the Korean Conflict.
Uncle Bob is gone but not forgotten and he will be fondly remembered as time passes for all of us. Friends and family are invited to attend the Graveside Service, Friday, August 21, 2009 at 11:00 AM at Calvary Catholic Cemetery, 304 Magnolia Ave., Petaluma, CA. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Petaluma, 416 Payran St., Petaluma, CA 94952. Arrangements entrusted to PARENT-SORENSEN MORTUARY & CREMATORY, Petaluma (707-763-4131).
Despite his quiet life or maybe because of it there were very few people who had anything negative to say about Robert. A man with four nieces and nephews and eight grand nieces and grand nephews, it seemed that anyone a generation or more his junior naturally called him "Uncle Bob.""" It just seemed to fit.
