Bob had been a well-known restaurateur and resident of Santa Rosa since 1966; dearly beloved husband for over 42 years of Gretel (Wakaliuk) Schreck; beloved father of Denice (Schreck) Pavelka and Ingrid (Schreck) Kelly; dear brother of Helmut Schreck of Speyer, Germany and of Peter Schreck of Forcheim, Germany; cherished brother-in-law of Wilma and Anita Schreck; adored "Opa" of Claire and Evan Pavelka and Finnegan Kelly; respected father-in-law of John Pavelka and Patrick Kelly of Santa Rosa; cherished lifelong friend of his extended family: Hans, Silvia, Christoph Kruger, Monika (Kruger) Haziot, and Adi, Michael, Wolfgang Wakaliuk and Carmen (Wakaliuk) Tracy.
