Robert Andrew Williams

Robert Andrew Williams passed away on December 8, 2021, in Sacramento at the age of 53.

Robert was born April 30,1968, in Novato, CA.  The family moved to Petaluma, CA in 1971.

After high school at Casa Grande HS and college at CSUS, where he earned his bachelor’s degree in accounting, Robert excelled as a loss prevention officer and fraud investigator for nearly 30 years, traveling extensively throughout the US.

Along with his work, Robert’s other passion was sports. An exceptional athlete growing up, Robert played little and senior league baseball, pop warner, high school, and college football, as well as high school tennis.

His love of football extended to his devotion to the NFL Raiders.  His personality and witty humor were infectious and often resulted in lively banter about life and about his beloved Raider teams by his closest friends and family.

He was a loving and caring brother and father, whose love for life nearly matched his love for his children, Bryson, 20 and Ethan, 17.  Robert also raised and nurtured numerous cats.

Robert leaves behind his sons, Bryson Williams and Ethan Williams, brothers Jerry Williams, James Williams, Albert Williams, Edward Williams and his cat, Millie. Robert was predeceased by his parents, Albert Williams in 1997 and Lolita Williams in 2013.

Family and friends may visit from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Wednesday, December 22, 2021, and attend a celebration of life at 12 p.m., from the parlors of Parent-Sorensen Mortuary, Petaluma. Interment at Calvary Catholic Cemetery, Petaluma.
