Roderick Dawe

Roderick "Rod""" "" Dawe - Rod Dawe passed away peacefully at home on April 15, 2010 with his wife, Jeanne Miller, at his side. He is survived by his wife, Jeanne; his son, Rick Dawe; his step-children, Cheryl Suit, Cheryl Sanderson (Mike), Karen Alexander (John), and Mike Miller; and his two sisters, Dorothy Donovan and Kathleen Koch. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. Friends and family are invited to attend the Memorial Service, Friday, April 23, 2010 at 1:00 PM at the PARENT-SORENSEN MORTUARY & CREMATORY, 850 Keokuk St., Petaluma. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Petaluma, 416 Payran St., Petaluma, CA 94952. Rod was born in Michele, Canada on August 5, 1925. He graduated from Jefferson High School in Daly City in 1943. During WWII, he proudly served in the Merchant Marines.
