Rodolfo Lopez Zavala

Rodolfo L. Zavala passed away August 24, 2013 at home in Sebastopol at the age of 84, beloved husband of the late Sally M. Zavala. Loving father of Connie Flores, Denise Magdaleno, Angelina Nelson, Gloria Richards, Jose Zavala, Maria Aguayo and the late Anita Zavala. Cherished grandfather of Javier, Marcus, Dominic, Anita, Santigago Jr., Alissa, Anthony, Travis, Jenna, Justin, Fabi, Joel and Joshua. Also survived by 14 great grandchildren and numerous brothers and sisters. A native of Mexico, Rodolfo was a resident of Sonoma County the past 50 years. He was retired as a groundskeeper at Sonoma State University. He enjoyed working in his yard and being with the grandchildren. The family express their appreciation to Sutter Hospice and special thanks to his caregiver, Karla Flores. Private family services will be held.
