Ronald John Moller

Ronald J. Moller passed away in the comfort of his home in Penngrove on Friday October 13th, 2017, after a brief battle with cancer. Ronald was born to John and Margaret Moller on February 6th, 1941 in Petaluma, Ca. and he spent his life in the greater Sonoma area, attending School in both Two Rock and Petaluma.

Later in life, Ron met Joyce and the two were married in 1957. Shortly after being wed, the two had their 1st child, Penny. Two years later they had a second child, Gary.

Ron was a man who loved his work. For fifty-five years he worked transporting entire houses from one location to another. It wasn’t just the challenge of the job that kept Ron enthralled; it was the comradery, devotion and hard work of his fellow employees.

Ron also had many hobbies from restoring vintage cars, going to garage sales to find more memorabilia for his duck collection, big game fishing in Mexico and rain or shine he could be found swimming. He and Joyce also loved to tour the United States in their R.V. and did so on multiple occasions.

Ron is survived by his beloved wife of 60 years, Joyce. His children, Penny Ruocco- Brown (Rev Dn. Joseph) and Gary Wayne Moller , grandchildren Ashley, John, Josh, Bethany, Tony, Felicia, Sophia and Eleni, as well as 8 great grandchildren, and his sister Sharon Turner(Jim) .

Funeral Services For Ron will be held on Saturday, October 21st at 2:00 PM at Parent-Sorensen Mortuary and Crematory, 850 Keokuk St., Petaluma.
