Ronald Wayne Thomas

Passed away peacefully on May 13, 2013 at his Cotati residence surrounded by his loving family at the age of 80 years. Devoted husband, for almost 50 years, to Sylvia Thomas of Cotati. Loving father of Sheri (David) Hubley of Cotati, Jac'lyn (Greg) Gill, and Lisa (John Suslov) Thomas all of Sebastopol. Cherished ‘Grampy' of 7 and ‘great-Grampy' of 7. Dear brother of James Thomas of MI and brother-in-law of Robert Victor of Cotati. Survived by numerous nephews and great-nephews. Ron was a bus driver for Golden Gate Transit for over 18 years. In his 20's he was a bull rider, a skilled horseman, and a motorcycle enthusiast. His hobbies were arguing politics and being a Civil War buff. A Funeral Liturgy will be held on Thursday, May 16, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at the mortuary, 850 Keokuk St., Petaluma. Private Entombment.
