Rosalie Ann Proulx

May 1, 1929 — June 29, 2016

Rosalie (Rosie) passed away after a long illness at the age of 87 in Petaluma, CA. She was born and raised in Visitation Valley in San Francisco but moved to Petaluma in the 1950's. She is survived by her husband Normand Proulx and children Christine Schmidt (Jim), Carolyn Hale (Lloyd), Yvette Proulx, Irene Borba (John), Albert Proulx and her niece Victoria LoBue. She was the grandmother of 11 and great grandmother of 3. Her passions in life were her family, cooking and SF Giants. Rosalie was an usherette at Seal Stadium when the Giants moved to San Francisco and when they moved to Candlestick Park. She also was an usherette for the events at the Cow Palace. She was retired from Fireman's Fund Insurance. A memorial Mass will be held on Friday, July 15th at 11:00 at St. James Catholic Church in Petaluma followed by a luncheon in the church hall. In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to either St. James Catholic Church, St. Jude's Children's Hospital or to Hospice by the Bay. Memorial Mass Friday, July 15, 2016 11:00 AM
