Rose Marie De Bernardi - Rose Marie De Bernardi Passed away peacefully at her Penngrove home on July 18, 2009. Loving wife of the late Alfonso DeBernardi. Devoted mother of John and Maria. Cherished daughter of the late Lily and Benjamin Canepa. Beloved Aunt Rosie to Elise Wedel, Lena Barlow, Arthur Tomasetti, and the late Milton Tunzi. Survived by numerous nieces, nephews and extended families in Lodano, Switzerland. A Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 22, 2009 from 11:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. with a Vigil at 7:00 p.m. at Parent-Sorensen Mortuary and Crematory, 850 Keokuk St., Petaluma, CA. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday, July 23, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 150 St. Joseph Way, Cotati, CA. A private graveside at Calvary Catholic Cemetery, Petaluma. Memorial contributions may be made to Hanna Boys Center, P.O Box 100, Sonoma, CA 94976. Born on May 7, 1914 in Petaluma, she was a longtime member of the Sons of Italy, Italian Catholic Federation, and the Hermann Sons Lodge.
