Rose Anne Sikes

Rose Anne (Barbieri) Sikes passed away after a brief illness on March 4, 2015. Born in Santa Rosa on December 13, 1946, she was predeceased by her father, Romie Barbieri, Sr., her mother, Helen Barbieri, and her husband, Norman Sikes. She is survived by her three children and their spouses; Dina (Eric) Miller, Timothy (Alisha) Sikes and Mary Helen (Masa) Okajima. She is also survived by her six grandchildren; Amanda Miller, Alyssa Miller, Kinsey Sikes, Karli Sikes, Isaac Okajima and Luke Okajima. Rose Anne is also survived by her two brothers, Romie (Gale) Barbieri, Jr., and Dennis (Gail) Barbieri; and her nieces Desta, Gina, and Lisa and her nephews Tony and Paul. Rose Anne worked at Rosenberg's until she decided to stay home and raise her children. Rose Anne was very active in the Italian Catholic Federation #198 and a member of St. Eugene's Church. Rose Anne loved to bowl, dance and socialize. She loved to be out enjoying herself with friends and family. There will be a viewing on Sunday, March 22, 2015 from 11:00 AM to 6:00 PM with the Vigil Service at 6:00 PM at LAFFERTY & SMITH COLONIAL CHAPEL, 4321 Sonoma Highway, Santa Rosa. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 AM, Monday, March 23, 2015 at the Cathedral of St. Eugene. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the ICF #198 for the Norman and Rose Anne Sikes Scholarship.
