Rosemary Bordessa

A woman who touched many lives, a kind, hard working, loving lady, who was generous to a fault. Much loved by a multitude of people. She had the ability to bring people closer together, even in the later stages of her life, especially her family and loved ones. Rosemary was happiest when surrounded by family and friends. In her younger years she worked as a waitress, bar tender and bar owner in Santa Rosa. The past 40 years, she managed the 32 unit Mayette Apartments. She thoroughly enjoyed the people and her job. She was the daughter of the late Andrea and Eva Bordessa. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Maryann ; granddaughter Valerie; brothers, John Bordessa and Art Bordessa. She is survived by her brother Andy Bordessa and sister, Norma Jean Parker and her longtime sweetheart, Frank Harvey. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held, Tuesday, April 2, 2013 from 11:00 am to 8:00 pm at PARENT-SORENSEN MORTUARY & CREMATORY, 850 Keokuk St., Petaluma. The Vigil Service will be at 7:00 pm Tuesday at the mortuary. Family and friends are also invited to attend the Funeral Liturgy, Wednesday, April 3, 2013 at 10:30 am at PARENT-SORENSEN. Interment, Calvary Catholic Cemetery, Petaluma. The family prefer memorials be made to your favorite charity.
