Roy J. Cerini -
Passed away peacefully in Petaluma, CA., November 4, 2008, with his loving family at his side. Beloved husband for 55 years of Maxine E. Cerini until her death in 1997. Loving father of Roy Max Cerini (Doris) of Santa Rosa, Eleanore Conroy (Wayne) of Tomales and Lillian Cerini Ayers (Wade) of Rohnert Park. Cherished grandfather of Eric Conroy, Michelle Pendleton (Tom), Monique Bradley, Sarah Cerini and Dominic Ayers. Adored great grandfather of Carrie, Gianna and Marissa Pendleton. Brother of the late Theodore Cerini. Longtime friend of Andre Paez and Janice Corda. Son of the late Isidoro and Martha Cerini. Also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Family and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Liturgy, Saturday, November 8, 2008 at 11:00 A.M. at Parent-Sorensen Mortuary & Crematory, Magnolia Ave. and Keokuk St., Petaluma. Visitation will be held at the mortuary on Friday, November 7, 2008 after 11:00 A.M. and the Vigil Service will be held at 6:00 P.M. Private entombment, Calvary Catholic Cemetery, Petaluma. The family prefers memorials be made to the Church of the Assumption, Tomales, CA. or to the Tomales Regional History Center.
A native of Tomales, CA. Age 89 years.
Roy was a member of the pioneer Cerini and Poncia families of Tomales. With his brother, he owned and operated the family business, the Tomales Garage.
